The only thing you need to know is in order to achieve the look in the photo, you will need to purchase a hoop skirt.

( 7 Bewertungen )Nach R****x 27/07/2021Loved this dress! Got lots of compliments at the Renaissance Festival. The only drawback was it ran big. I had to do a lot of pinning to make it fit. I don't suggest wearing it in the middle of summer as the cloth is heavy. Luckily I purchased the hoops which helped me keep decently cool.

I am 5'4" and had to hem up two inches to keep it just barely off the floor. (Fortunately, the hem the dress comes with is fairly straight, so this was pretty quick.) The edge of the sleeves have plastic sewn on the edge, probably to keep its shape, but (a) that didn't really work, (b) it was unneeded, and (c) it doesn't look good. It came really quickly. I let it hang for a few days and that took care of the wrinkles pretty well. It can be ironed! I used a low setting (for the hemming). I used a three-hoop petticoat with it, but it could definitely work with a larger one.

( 2 Bewertungen )Nach S****r 17/04/2023The dress is gorgeous however my 2 complaints are 1. that the opening for the arms are very small and do not match a person purchasing a XXL dress. The arms were constructed for a size medium. 2. Unfortunately I had to have it altered in oder for me to be able to wear it. Again a very beautiful well constructed dress.
