Wonderful dress - quality is great and I brought it up two sizes and fits just right. i didn't want it hugging me since the fabric will show every roll. Defiantly need a girdle.

I got this as a gift for someone and it fit exactly as expected. She usually wears medium and I got the medium. Her top half is small (32A) but medium arms, and she has a bit of a belly. I didn't want to chance the large, as I felt the upper half of the dress would be too big. And I was right.Got the medium and the fit is quite good. Because of that sideways pleating in the midsection, it gives some room for the belly area. And it's not tight at all. There is still some room there. The top half is roomy as well, I won't say overly so, but comfortable. The only work being done is some hemming (she's about 4'11,). Shapewear is an option, but simply for a smoother look - not for slimming purposes.For someone with a smaller bust, as I read in another review, you may have to pin the top of the lining to your bra to keep the lining up. I'd imagine someone with a larger bust would be okay without having to do that.Beautiful dress that looks more expensive than it actually was.Her measurements are 32A-32-39.

This dress if gorgeous! I am 5'11, and wear US size 12 with 36DDD bra size, so you can see how I am very hesitant about ordering clothes online. The dress fits like a glove. I bought size 16 intensionally, thinking it's easier to alter down than up. No alterations needed and it is plenty long to even wear a little heel ;) i would recommend this dress to anyone. Valentine's day mascarade ball won!
