I typically wear a size large in dresses, but based on other reviews and my height (5'10,) I purchased an XXL. It is pretty big up top, but that was expected based on the size - I put some extra stitches in on the sides to help shore things up. It's a quality dress though, it works very well for my purposes. I bought this to wear for playing my flute and piccolo at concerts and typically have issues with formal dresses having very stiff and restrictive sleeves that make playing very uncomfortable. The lace is soft and stretchy and doesn't restrict movement at all.

I bought this for my sister from her wish list & it is an amazingly high quality and beautiful fit!! Gorgeous! :) A little long for her size as she's below 5'7, but it could be hemmed. It would have fit me perfectly at 5'9.

I purchased the dress as a mother of the bride dress and I received many compliments on it! It worked out very well and was an excellent price. I am only 5'1 and so it was extremely long- I had to get it hemmed. I also wore a grey cap-sleeve shirt underneath because I wanted a bit more modesty. It was very wrinkled from shipment, but rather than paying to get it professionally steamed I just turned it inside out and used the satin setting and the steamer on my own iron. I had to go over it a lot and sprayed it a bit with water while ironing it. It worked just fine! Just be aware while wearing this dress that the satin skirt can easily get snags in it. But overall it is a great dress!!

I was a big sceptical about ordering this dress. Very happy I did. The quality is very good and fits in all the right places. I'm a 38DD size 12 and I ordered a XL.

Beautiful dress, and very forgiving on the figure. I really think this is the type of dress that would make any woman look great. I am tall and very curvy and it made me feel sexy. It's very easy to put on, and makes you look instantly elegant. All the other reviews about static are very true though, I specifically bought static spray along with it, and I'm so glad because the static when you take it out of the shipping bag is ridiculous.

The quality of dress is excellent but please buy two sizes larger which I did for my sister who was mother of the bride.

I love this dress and I’m excited that it fit so nicely. The only thing I didn’t like is that the top is totally see through. I did find something to put underneath, but thought it came with material. However, for the price it is a great formal dress. Looking forward to wearing it.

I’m not sure if it was me or the dress? I normally wear a large/extra large around a size 16 and ordered a 3x and had to wear Spanx underneath. It felt comfortable. Was not a scratchy lace or cut of dress. I wore this to a marine corps ball and i fit right in. Very elegant and classy.

Wonderful dress, especially for the price. I bought the navy blue, and it's gorgeous. Only complaints - the lace at the front V doesn't match perfectly, so the neckline is slightly asymmetrical. Also, the dress went to the floor, so I had to hem it - to be expected with such a stretchy fit, that the length will be different on anyone.I was so impressed with NO zippers or hooks - the fabric is beautiful, and curve hugging. I did have to wear some Spanx to smooth out the silhouette, but I'm sure most gals under 40 won't need that.
