The dress itself is a beautiful garment! It's made out of way better fabric than you usually see with costumes. It's a cotton fabric which was very comfortable and moved well. Really! Lots of beautiful details both front and back. You can tell someone put a lot of work into making it.

The lilac version of this dress is lovely (although it is a more pinkish purple than what I was expecting). The piece itself is rather sturdy, save for a few loose decorative bows. In some places, the decorative ribbon is a bit too long for the lace on top of it and it bunches up a little. The fit around the torso can be adjusted with a ribbon in the back, but the ribbon is woven through some lace (though the lace feels a bit sturdier than I expected). My package also came with a soft, lovely pink rose (which even has rose oil on it to make it smell nice)! It took about a month for the package to come in, but I think it was well worth the wait.
