W****yOverall Fit:Ture to sizeI just barely received these about 20 minutes ago. :) It was perfect timing on the delivery too. I wasn't expecting them to get here for another two days, so it was fast shipping. Anyway, I had just come out of the shower and put on pajamas wishing that I had shorts instead of long pants. Minutes later these came and I was thinking, "That is a little uncanny, but perfect!" So of course I am wearing them right now. :D They fit perfectly, and come just where I was expecting them to; about 2 inches above the knee, and they are so comfortable to sit in. Sometimes shorts fit great when standing, and then you sit down and they cut into your leg and it doesn't feel or look good. These are super comfortable standing and sitting. ^_^ I love the lace on the bottom (that is actually part of what caught my eye when I first saw these) and that part is about 1 1/2 inches. It is very cute, and looks tasteful. The ribbons on the side are to adjust how tight the leg part fits. I wasn't expecting that, and it is a wonderful feature. :) The waist is very comfortable too. It is elastic, of course, but doesn't squeeze your waist like some elastic waists do. The waist rests, for me at any rate, at the belly button, which adds to the comfortable feeling. The stitching is excellent quality, as usual. They also will, I think, work as pajamas, being around the house, or wearing outside on a hot day.
