- Overall I love this dress, especially for the price! I did have to make a couple adjustments based on my preferences and body shape. I’ve listed the modifications, and pictures. 1. I am a size 10-12 US, with a very large bust (let’s just say > E cup), I ordered the dress in a size 16 to fit my bust (could have gone up to an 18) and had to get the body taking in. 2. I was VERY pleased with the quality of the top, fully lined, elastic back strap for added support, ruching laid nicely. 3. Eneven number of corset hooks, seamstress had to even them out. 4. Added extra crinoline to the skirt of the dress for fullness and a petticoat underneath. 5. Tacked the ruffles in the skirt to create preferred shape and symmetry. 6. I kept the dress bustled (preferred to the train). 7. Seamstress added the belt (purchased $25 off Amazon). 8. The edges on the skirt were VERY poorly finished!!! (Biggest issue with the dress) Seamstress found a satin ribbon to match the fabric and lined the edges.
