I was under the impression that the bride would have to be the center of the attention and if I did end up wearing something like this, it would be unfair to the bride as I would be stealing her thunder on her big day. My son however finally coxed me into wearing this dress and well quite frankly I liked the dress a lot and it was the reason why I didn’t want to wear it in the first place.
