The waist is a lot larger than what it said in the measurement guide for sizes, and I had my friend take it in because of this. I recommend getting this custom for those that wish to purchase this skirt. The material is great though, since I’m 5’1” it came down just a few inches about my ankles. Hope this helps!

I love this skirt! I bought it for a cosplay, and it's a little loose near the top, but it looks so nice that I don't mind. As someone else said, it IS ankle-length, but I'm also kind of short, so I'm sure it varies a little from person to person.
