The quality of the fabric was such that you couldnt see through it ( like u do in some cheap cottons) it was soft just like the lace. I feel that some of the ruffles/design elements could be smaller or sized diff to be more flattering but overall this dress at this price? Freakin flawless and a great staple on its own or used as a piece to alter for your own orig costume idea10/12/2012
